Unique garden of Thymophylla attracts numerous Hanoians

This flower gives people a feeling of relaxation and stress relief because its scent is gentle and mild.

The one-hectare Thymophylla (a kind of daisy flower in the shape of a meteor) garden, blooming with a bright yellow color, creates a beautifully poetic and romantic scene like the European sky in the heart of Hanoi.

Truong The Hung, an owner of Long Bien Flower Garden in Hanoi’s Long Bien District, shared with The Hanoi Times: “Thymophylla is native to south central Texas and northern Mexico. In Vietnam, this kind of flower is distributed mainly in tropical forests.”

This flower can grow in extremely harsh weather conditions and can also grow well on cliffs and mountainsides. Therefore, Thymophylla is grown in many places and all different weather conditions.

“To grow this flower garden, we nursed plants and sowed them from seeds 4-5 months ago. The flowers bloom most brilliantly in the Summer. Still, the weather in Hanoi recently matched the characteristics of Thymophylla, so the daisies have bloomed on the occasion that Hanoi’s Autumn is at its most beautiful,” Hung said.

More than 50,000 trees of Thymophylla are in full bloom.

Over the past few days, Hanoi, with beautiful Autumn sunshine, has made the Thymophylla more beautiful. Numerous young people have come to the flower garden to take photos to save their shimmering moments.

Couples also come to the Thymophylla garden to take lovely wedding photos.

One thing that creates a noble appearance for this flower is that although the stem is drooping, the flowers grow in the direction of reaching up, welcoming sunlight.

This flower also gives people a feeling of relaxation and stress relief because its scent is gentle and mild.
