Three destinations on the top list of Traveler Review Awards 2021 that any travellers should visit once among their lifetime.

Phong Nha topped the Vietnamese destinations in the ‘Most Welcoming Cities’ list. Travellers demonstrated their deepest appreciation towards staff at the accommodation they stayed at, according to the results of the annual Traveler Review Awards 2021 announced by Booking.com,

This year's rankings were based on over 130 million guest-verified reviews, more than 1.1 million of which were for properties in Vietnam.

So, what did reviewers from Vietnam like about their stay? The Booking.com Traveller Review Awards 2021 indicates that Vietnamese travellers appreciate staff, cleanliness, and comfort most when reviewing award-winning properties on the platform, with those attributes scoring the highest among the categories that travelers rate following their stay.

These preferences are consistent with global trends, which found staff to be the highest rated attribute among the Traveller Review Award 2021 winners, followed by cleanliness and location.

With consumers becoming increasingly health and hygiene conscious, notably, on average, winners had a cleanliness score that was 17% higher than the average cleanliness score for non-winners, suggesting it may be a differentiator for a more perfect welcome.
