Hanoi to launch database and software for children management

The Hanoi Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs has recently issued Plan No.1520/KH-SLDTBXH on building database of children and using software for children management.

Under the Plan, it is expected that all districts, suburban districts and towns will build database of children and review, collect and update the software with the  data; all officers in charge of child care and protection from 30 districts, towns and 584 communes, wards and townships will be trained to review, collect and update the software with information  of children; all freelance collaborators of child care and protection according to Decision No. 649/QD-UBND dated February 5, 2015 of the Municipal People’s Committee will receive Book of supervising children in families, collect and record full information of the children in the books; all districts and towns are responsible for checking, supervising, collecting and adding information of the children into the software.
In order to fulfill the task, the Department will conduct training for officers in charge of child care and protection, and guide them how to use the software. It will also organize training for freelance collaborators in Hanoi, focusing on supervising children, especially children in special circumstances, children prone to special circumstances and other types of children, and record in the Book of supervising children in families.
Launching the database of children and software for child management will maintain the database of children, review, update, and collect information of children in general and children in special circumstances according to Law on Children 2016, children prone to special circumstances and other types of children as well; implementation of policies on supporting children, thus serving the management, exploitation of child information from central level to local level as well as planning of policy on child care and protection.
