Hanoi Railway increases more trains during national holidays

The Hanoi Railway Transport JSC (Haraco) has decided to run 29 additional trains to provide more than 15,000 additional tickets on all routes.

This decision to serve the increased demand for travel over the upcoming Southern Liberation and National Reunification Day (April 30) and International Labour Day (May 1).

The company will add eight additional trains for the Hanoi - Vinh route from April 24 to 28 with 4,652 tickets. While eight trains will operate on the return leg from April 30 and May 1 with 4,652 tickets, according to Haraco report.
The Hanoi - Dong Hoi route will have two more trains operating on April 27 with 788 tickets. The Dong Hoi - Hanoi direction is set for three additional trains running over April 30 and May 1 with 1,182 tickets.
The Hanoi - Da Nang route and return journey will have two extra trains each with a total of 1,688 tickets. Two more trains will be set up for Hanoi - Thanh Hoa journey with 906 tickets, meanwhile, the reverse route will have three additional trains with 1,018 tickets.
Tickets are available from March 16 onwards. Passengers can visit the company’s website at www.vantaiduongsathanoi.vn and www.dsvn.vn to purchase tickets online and view detailed information on tickets, fees, and schedules, or contact hotline 1900.0109 for direct consultation.
Last year, during national holidays, Hanoi welcomed 289.480 tourists, increasing by 11% compared to 2016. The 289.480 tourists included 54.000 international tourists and 285.000 domestic tourists. The total social income from tourism is estimated at VND867 billion (US$38 million), up 21 year-on-year, according to Hanoi Department of Tourism.
