Hanoi: Men rushed to have hair-cut before barbershops close
Hair salons and sidewalk barbershop were over-crowded after Hanoi issued an order on the business suspension to curb coronavirus spread.
Hanoi people rushed to hair salons and beauty parlors for hair dressing before these services were closed in compliance with directive of the Hanoi People's Committee Chu Ngoc Anh on some measures to contain the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic whose threat mounts in the city.
Under the new directive, signed by Hanoi mayor Chu Ngoc Anh, all restaurants and eateries with sit-down table service; hair salons and beauty parlors in the city have to be shut from 12:00 am on May 25.

As noted by reporters from Kinh te & Do thi, the sidewalk barbershops on pavement in Thai Thinh street, Dong Da district, were packed with male clients waiting to get their hair done. |
