Exploring tantalizing rice ripening season in northwest Vietnam

Walking through the vast mature rice fields, tourists can smell the sweet aroma of ripe rice in the breeze, which creates a relaxing and comfortable mood.

Every autumn, between September and October, Hoang Su Phi in the northern province of Ha Giang and Mu Cang Chai in the northern province of Yen Bai magnetize travelers for their extraordinary golden rice season.


All over the mountain slopes, the terraced fields are covered with the golden color of the ripening rice season, attracting crowds of tourists from everywhere to admire the enchanting beauty of the Northwest region.

The two tourist attractions with thousands of roads winding around majestic mountain ranges, layers and layers hidden between the clouds like "stairs to heaven" that adventurous travelers should not miss when coming to Vietnam.

Hoang Su Phi is one of the most beautiful terraced fields in the country thanks to its vast beautiful fields.

With its value and identity, Hoang Su Phi terraced fields have been recognized as a national monument by the Vietnamese Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism since 2012.

Also located over 300 kilometers from Hanoi, Mu Cang Chai in Yen Bai Province helps tourists witness the alluring beauty of the scenery.
  

It can be said that Mu Cang Chai is at its best in the fall when the fields turn yellow.

 

The hills of Mam Xoi and Mong Ngua are places with the most beautiful terraced fields which help tourists snap numerous beautiful Instagrammable photos.

Walking through the vast paddy fields, tourists will smell the sweet aroma of ripe rice blending with the wind, creating a relaxing feeling.

  The yellow and green colors of the rice fields create a gorgeous carpet as if it were bestowed by heaven and earth.
