Contest launched to seek national digital transformation solutions

The contest is held annually with a view to finding creative solutions to many social issues, contributing to the national digital transformation strategy.

Viet Solutions 2021, a contest to seek feasible solutions for the national digital transformation process, was launched by the Ministry of Information and Communications (MIC) and Viettel Military Industry and Telecoms Group (Viettel) on June 10.

With the message "Collaboration to create a digital society", Viet Solutions 2021 welcomes the participation of organizations and individuals living, learning, and working everywhere around the world.

Viet Solutions 2021 will look for ideas and technology products focusing on ten fields, including healthcare, education, finance-banking, agriculture, transport-logistics, energy, natural resources-environment, industrial production, entertainment-utility solutions, and business management.

All the quizzes have been published at www.vietsolutions.net.vn. Papers will be collected from now until August 15 in the form of online submissions.

The qualifying round will take place from September 6 to September 18 with many contests such as Elevator Pitch, Camping Days, and Demo Day.

The final round is scheduled to take place on September 20.

The organizers of Viet Solutions 2021 said that the total value of all prizes this year is three times higher than last year, and contestants have a chance to cooperate with Viettel in the future.

Besides, the best teams in the preliminary round will receive special training by experts from leading universities and corporations to improve their startup skills.

Viet Solutions is held annually with a view to finding creative solutions for social issues, contributing to the national digital transformation strategy.

After two seasons, nearly 600 projects have been submitted, and the total value of signed contracts reached VND20 billion (US$873,000).

The three winning solutions chosen in 2020 were Mismart (a solution to check the health of plants via self-propelled aircraft), Map4D (a made-in-Vietnam map platform), and CyRada (a solution for cybersecurity on a cloud platform).
